Is Avela free?
Yes. Reading the Bible, search, highlights, bookmarks, verse of the day, widgets and reading routes are free forever. Premium and Family add the daily practice, programs, the prayer journal and Prayer Circles.
Who can read my prayers?
Your journal stays on your iPhone. If you sync it, it is encrypted on your device first. Circle conversations are encrypted too, so only circle members can read them. We do not sell data and do not show ads. Read our Privacy Policy.
Do my family members need to pay too?
With the Family plan one subscription covers up to 6 people.
How do I cancel?
Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Avela. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Which church is Avela from?
Avela is not tied to a single church. You choose Protestant, Catholic or Orthodox, and the reflections come from classic, trusted sources of that tradition.
